Bookmobile stop @ 80th Ave. Metra Station!
Need new release movies or “how to” videos for the weekend? What about
music or books on tape for your train ride? Videos to bring home for the
kids? The Bookmobile stops every Friday morning at the 80th Avenue Metra station, from 7:00 am to 8:00 am.

About the
Bookmobile
The Tinley Park Public
Library has a bookmobile to better serve the patrons of Tinley Park and Orland
Hills who cannot easily get to the library. The bookmobile is a mobile
branch of the library. It contains a collection of children and adult
popular fiction, seasonal nonfiction, popular videocassettes, DVD's, books on
tape,
magazines, and CD's.
Books can be checked out and renewed on
the vehicle. Items that were checked out at the main library, or from
another library, can be returned to the bookmobile. Patrons can
obtain or renew their library card, reserve books from the Tinley Park
Library, and pay fines for overdue items.
The bookmobile goes out on Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, stopping at 44 neighborhood parks and
street intersections throughout Tinley Park and Orland Hills.
Our goal is to visit every neighborhood at least once in a three-week
rotation. Come visit us on the bookmobile at a stop near your
home and see what we have to offer!

In the event of inclement weather or
mechanical difficulties, the library may cancel a scheduled stop by the
Bookmobile.
