Friends of the Tinley Park Public
Library
If you use the Tinley Park Public Library, you're already a
friend. Why not make it official by joining the Friends of the Library?
The Friends help the library in countless ways by
conducting fund-raisers, supporting special events and library programs, and
purchasing library furnishings and artwork. Members organize and maintain the
Friends Book Store just inside the entrance to the library; and they also raise
money through the sale of candy bars, book bags, and other items. No matter what
skills and experiences you bring to the group, the Friends can use your
help!
Recently, proceeds from the Friends of
the Library have been used to purchase inspirational fiction in
large type, two stained glass windows, works of art depicted on a
violin and a cymbal, a piece of original artwork by Sylvia M. Koch,
office furniture, and a Yamaha piano.

To join the Friends of the Library stop at the Patron Services Desk
to obtain a copy of the membership form. Alternatively, click on one of the Friends of the
Library membership forms shown below, print it, and mail the completed form with a check to:
