ADULTS are welcome to volunteer through the Friends of the Library organization.
TEEN VOLUNTEER INFO:
Teen Volunteer Form
- Students in grades 6-12 may earn volunteer hours for school, religious, or community organizations. You may also volunteer just for fun.
- Students must be a resident of, or a member of an organization in Tinley Park or Orland Hills.
- We will send an email at the start of each month listing the volunteer opportunities for that month, & when you're done, let us know so we can remove you from the list. If you do not have an email address, a print copy of the opportunities will be available at the Youth Services Desk.
- Volunteer opportunities will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Missing a scheduled volunteer time without prior notification will result in removal from our active volunteer list, & you will no longer be notified of volunteer opportunities.
- We will also inform the organization sponsoring your volunteering.
Are you a teen in need of filling court-ordered community service? While the library is unable to provide court-appointed hours at this time, Bremen Youth Services is an organization that may be able to help you locate a place to complete your requirements.
