Zombies, Art, and Pop Culture

World War Z Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Saturday, October 26 at 1:00pm (Film); discussion begins 3:00pm.

The creepy, brain-hungry zombie has become a symbol across art, film, and literature. How is the image of the zombie used and where did it come from? Why does this resonate with readers and moviegoers?

Join us for a special screening of the movie World War Z, rated PG-13, 116 minutes, at 1:00pm and stay for a discussion about this fascinating genre. Faculty members from Moraine Valley Community College have generously agreed to bring their insight to our library.
