Description:
Where do fact and fiction converge in the medieval fantasy Game of Thrones? Lucas Livingston explores this in his presentation of Medieval and Renaissance art and culture.

From dire wolves and dragon glass to shining lords and undead hordes, Game of Thrones has captured our consciousness with images and stories of medieval fantasy, but where do fact and fiction converge? What historic moments and celebrated sagas parallel the author's world and its narratives? Art Institute of Chicago lecturer, Lucas Livingston, explores these issues in this richly illustrated presentation of Medieval and Renaissance art and culture.
