Description:
Join us as pop culture historian Robert Rodriguez examines the Beatles' last year– highlighting their famous rooftop performance. Signup required.

The Beatles on the Rooftop examines the events of the group's last year, beginning roughly with the sessions filmed for what became the Let It Be film (which famously ended with their rooftop performance) and concluded with the issue of Abbey Road - the four members going their separate ways - John's request for a "divorce" - and the "Paul is dead" rumors. Were the Beatles really tired of being the Fab Foursome, or were they taking time away before other events changed the dynamic irrevocably?

Robert Rodriguez is an award-winning Beatles scholar; author or contributor to over a dozen books including five on The Beatles (with two more in the works). Additionally, he is an acclaimed public speaker and go-to authority in Chicago for media requests on Beatle-related topics. He is also the creator and host of the Something About The Beatles podcast.
