About this event
Grades 6-8: Participants read a title from the Caudill 2026 Young Readers' Book Award nominee list each month. This month we'll be discussing Warrior Girl by Carmen Tafolla. A novel in verse about the joys and struggles of a Chicana girl who is a warrior for her name, her history, and her right to choose what she celebrates in life.
At our book discussion TPPL will provide each attendee a snack and drink from a preselected menu. Book club meets at the following location: Bean N' Breek 17835 80th Avenue, Tinley Park, IL 60477.
