“The Kid” 1921, starring Charles Chaplin, Edna Purviance, Jackie Coogan
This classic silent film follows an orphan boy and the man who adopts him, and takes him in as his sidekick.

An American silent drama-comedy film written, produced, and directed by Charlie Chaplin. This was Chaplin's first full-length movie, and was a huge success being the second-highest grossing film in 1921.

Felix in Hollywood is a 1923 short featuring Felix the Cat. A starving actor (Charlie Chaplin), reduced to trying his luck in the movies, travels to Hollywood. His cat, Felix, poses as a travel bag and comes along.

About Jay Warren - Chicago's foremost photoplay organist - brings all the excitement, and glamour of the silent film era back to life with his original scores for the silver screen.  As a regularly featured photoplay organist for the Silent Film Society of Chicago, he has accompanied most of the great silent films throughout his forty-year career in his famous rousing style. He is the official silent film accompanist for two ongoing silent film series at St. John Cantius in Chicago and the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, plus featured solo organist for the monthly Pickwick Theatre Classic Film Series in Park Ridge.
