What is a Book Box?

A Book Box is a service to professional educators.  It is a compilation of books and other items from the Tinley Park Public Library's collection for use in a classroom setting.

How does it work?

Library staff will handpick items on the topic you requested and check them out on your personal library card. After submitting your request, please allow 5 weekdays for preparation of a Book Box.

After submitting the information below, you will receive a call or email when your request is ready for pick-up at the Youth Services Desk on the second floor.

After you have been contacted, you have 5 days to pick up your Book Box.

A valid library card is required to use this service.
Institution must be located in Tinley Park, Orland Hills, or be within in our service area.
Check all that apply.

These items will be checked out for three weeks.  Please contact us if you need to renew the items.
