The library is closed until further notice. Checkouts are due July 6. Board Meeting on May 27 will be virtual through Zoom.

Under the direction of the Village of Tinley Park and the Library Board of Trustees, we will be closed until further notice. We will continue to monitor the situation and will open when directed by local authorities.

  • Virtual events are available
  • The drive-up book drops will be open every day starting Tuesday, June 2
    • Items will be quarantined before they are removed from your account
  • Curbside pickup will begin in June
  • All in-person library events and room reservations are cancelled until further notice
  • All books and materials are due July 6
  • Fines and fees will be paused until July 6
  • Cards that expired between 2017 and now have been extended until July 4, 2020
  • Tinley Park Public Library cardholders can place holds online for Tinley Park Public Library items only.
    • Holds will be fulfilled starting in June
