Friday, July 21 (Grades 4-7) and Friday, July 28 (Grades 8-12) from 7–8 pm
Texts, snaps, tweets, and posts make up the fabric of your child’s every day social life. A quarter of teens say they go online “almost constantly,” and, as a parent, it can feel difficult to keep up. This workshop, led by Youth Services and Virtual Services Librarians, offers parents an introduction to parental controls, social media apps, online privacy, media literacy, and cyberbullying. Registration for this program is required.
