The bookmobile is a mobile branch of the library that visits over 30 neighborhoods, parks, and senior facilities throughout Tinley Park and Orland Hills.
On board you will find a collection of children and adult popular fiction, seasonal nonfiction, Wii and PS3 games, DVDs, music CDs, and magazines.
Items that were checked out at the main library, or from another library, may be returned to the bookmobile.
You may obtain a new library card or renew your card, with proof of residency.
Fines may be paid on the bookmobile. Cash or check are accepted as payment.
If you can’t come to the library… the library will come to you! The goal of the Outreach Services Department is to meet the needs of qualifying patrons who are unable to visit the library. Those who are elderly, live alone, are homebound, or physically challenged may be eligible for homebound service.
For additional information, please call the library’s Outreach Services Department at 708.532.0160, x6.
In the event of inclement weather or mechanical difficulties, the library may cancel a scheduled bookmobile stop or homebound delivery.
