Drive-thru Pickup Window

General guidelines:

• Open during the library’s regular hours.
• Only for pickup of holds requested for the Drive-thru Pickup Window location.
• Please have your library card with you and ready when you pull up to the window.
• Library of Things items must be checked out and returned inside the library.
• No walk-up service or fine payments.
• Library cards cannot be issued at the window, but we will be happy to issue library cards inside the library at the Checkout Desk!
• No donations, please.

How to place a hold to pick up at the window:

• Look up the item you would like to place on hold.
• Select Place Hold.
• A popup will say: I want to pick this up at…
  • Select Tinley Park Public Library Drive-thru Window in the dropdown menu.
  • Select Submit Hold Request.
• Wait for a notification that your hold is ready.
• Pick up your hold at the Drive-thru Pickup Window!

Want the Drive-thru Pickup Window to be your preferred hold pickup location?

• Visit our catalog.
• Log into your account with your library card number and PIN.
• Select the user icon on the top right and go to Your Preferences.
• Change your Preferred Pickup Branch to Tinley Park Public Library Drive-thru Window and select Update My Preferences to save.**

**Please note that any holds placed prior to updating your preferred pickup location to the drive-thru will be held at their original pickup location. See staff to change the pickup location for these holds.
