Pavilion Use Policy
Purpose
The Tinley Park Public Library Pavilion is property owned and maintained by the Tinley Park Public Library. The Pavilion is not available for reservation and must remain open for general use.
Noise and Conduct
Pavilion users are expected to follow all provisions of the Patron Behavior Policy. In particular, pavilion users are responsible for maintaining reasonable noise levels and respectful behavior at all times. Activities that disrupt nearby residents, other Library patrons, or library operations are not permitted.
Amplified sound, loud music, or public address systems are prohibited unless specifically approved in writing by the Library Director.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on Library property, including the Pavilion.
Open flames, grills, smokers, candles, fire pits, propane tanks, charcoal, portable stoves, warming trays with open heat elements, and similar equipment are not permitted on Library property, including the Pavilion.
Smoking is not permitted in the Pavilion.
Priority Use and Revision
The Tinley Park Public Library reserves the right to reserve the Pavilion for Library-affiliated/sponsored programs. The Library further reserves the right to modify this policy.
