Hear about the Beatles first form US radio airplay; their first US releases, and the three tours that brought them to town as well as other momentous events occurring here (for example, John's "apology" for the "more popular than Jesus" comments, which happened downtown at Astor Towers).


Speaker Bio:
Robert Rodriguez is an award-winning author (Revolver: How The Beatles Re-Imagined Rock 'n' Roll) of five books on The Beatles and contributor to several others. He is also the creator and host of the acclaimed Something About The Beatles podcast. In Chicago, he is the go-to Beatles authority on local media as well as a busy public speaker.
