Presenter Bio: Hugo Colin
Hugo started performing his tribute to Elvis during his kindergarten days at his northwest side elementary school’s annual talent show. Once every year, Hugo would prepare to sing and dance a different Elvis song until his 8th-grade year when 13 jailbirds performed “Jailhouse Rock”.
Throughout his high school years, Hugo volunteered at great Chicagoland NFPOs and, thanks to a big fan, managed to add his 1st restaurant to his monthly calendar. Now, starting next year, you can RSVP at 4 different restaurants around the city.
Since 2015, Hugo has participated in several competitions and is earning the respect of fellow ETAs and fans alike. In 2022, he will be looking into more competitions including a return to Portage IN in early October- which is also a fundraiser for Porter County Special Olympics.
Hugo, a proud Chicagoan, Lane Tech High School 2019 alumnus, and Chicagoland’s young Elvis Tribute Artist performs all of the legendary early television, radio, record and concert recordings of all of Elvis’ genres from gospel, ballads, rockabilly, Hawaiian and Christmas favorites to the icon’s greatest rock n’ roll hits from the1950s and beyond!
This talented young man pays tribute to everyone’s favorite entertainer for the enjoyment of life-long Elvis admirers and to introduce the music legend to a brand new generation of fans.
