From 1929 to 2009, Kiddieland in Melrose Park was one of Chicago’s favorite amusement parks. Re-experience the park through vintage photos and videos of the park on a busy summer day. Learn about the final auction of the rides, why the park had to close, and where the rides are today.

Speaker Bio: Cheryl Brown is a historian and college professor at Oakton College. She has spent many years researching Kiddieland and will dazzle you with the history, fun facts, videos and photos from Kiddieland which was Chicagoland’s oldest amusement park when it closed in 2009.
