We’ve turned our Boardwalk into a Poetry Walk! Celebrate National Poetry Month with a stroll around the library’s prairie land, where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the grounds while taking in the splendor of the written word. Inside the Library
Be sure to stop inside the library to check out our poetry books and displays in all departments. In Adult Services, we have pocket-sized poems that are free for the taking on our display. Keep a poem for yourself or share it with a friend!
Want more inspiration? Enjoy readings of original poems by local writers or share your own creative work at our Poetry Open Mic Night on Monday, April 29 from 6–8 pm. Ages 18+, signup required.
