In January, we launched a new book-giveaway initiative called Yours to Keep. This project provides access to free, gently-used books and encourages reading throughout our community.
The books we distribute have been withdrawn from the library’s collection due to age, condition, or reduced popularity, or have been donated to the library. Since January, nearly 1,000 books have found new homes!

- Tinley Park Laundromat, 16729 Oak Park Ave
- Quick Wash Laundromat, 17147 S Harlem Ave
- Food Pantry at United Methodist Church, 6875 173rd Pl
- On the Bookmobile at special events, school visits, and weekly neighborhood stops in Tinley Park and Orland Hills
