Genealogy Assistance
Genealogy Assistance is an hour-long appointment dedicated to assisting you with your genealogy questions and needs. We can help you:
- Formulate a research plan and recommend resources
- Start the process of making your family tree
- Find and analyze genealogical records
- Teach you to use genealogy databases (Ancestry Library Edition & others), including advanced features
- Offer advice and provide a second set of eyes when you are at a roadblock in your research
A Genealogy Assistance appointment is available to Tinley Park Public Library card holders, one time per day, for no longer than an hour. Appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance, and not more than two weeks in advance.
