Library of Things
The Tinley Park Public Library now has a Library of Things! This collection of nontraditional items gives you the chance to try before buying or to borrow instead of buying something you rarely need. Borrow an item to save money, reduce waste, and be a part of resource-sharing with our community!
Checkout Guidelines for Library of Things Items:
- For Tinley Park Public Library cardholders only, must be 18+ years old.
- Loan period is three (3) weeks with no renewals.
- You may borrow up to five (5) Library of Things items at a time, with no more than one item being a technology device.
- Must present TPPL card and photo ID to check out technology devices.
- An agreement form must be signed the first time you check out a Library of Things item.
- Late fee is $1 per day.
