THERE IS CURRENTLY ONE POSITION AVAILABLE
Shelver – Part Time
This part-time position shelves materials in both Adult and Youth Services under the co-supervision of the Adult Reference Manager and the Young Adult Librarian. Requires the ability to bend and stoop and to move a cart loaded with up to 100lbs. of books and other materials.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently or as part of a team and will be able to concentrate and pay attention to detail. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. The Tinley Park Public Library serves both the communities of Tinley Park and Orland Hills, with a combined population of 63,852 residents.
Part-time, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. One consecutive Saturday (9:00a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and Sunday (11:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) per month.
Sixteen years of age with one year of high school education or equivalent.
$8.61 per hour
