Illinois Readers’ Choice Voting

Vote for Your Favorite Monarch, Bluestem & Caudill Award Books!

January 16 – March 1

We will be conducting voting for the Monarch, Bluestem, and Rebecca Caudill Awards. Pick up and fill out a paper ballot at the Youth Services Desk. 

Grade levels and reading requirements

• Monarch: Children in grades K-2 who have read at least five books on the 2023 Monarch list are invited to vote.
• Bluestem: Children in grades 3-5 who have read at least four books on the 2023 Bluestem list are invited to vote.
• Caudill: Children in grades 4-8 who have read at least three books on the 2023 Rebecca Caudill list are invited to vote.

Readers who have already voted at school can still feel free to vote at the library. Although your vote will not be submitted to the official AISLE total, we will use it to determine a local winner!
