Library staff may fax your documents at the Checkout Desk on the first level. The charge is $1.00 per page for local numbers and $8.00 per page for international. You may have a fax sent to the library and can pick it up and pay for it at the Checkout Desk. Please instruct the sender of the fax to use the following number: (708) 845-5744.
Our library offers a limited number of passes to museums and parks in the Chicagoland area. The passes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to TPPL cardholders. Visit the program's website to see what venues and deals are offered. Highlights include the Brookfield Zoo, the Chicago Botanic Garden, the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn, and LEGOLAND Discovery Center. A Museum Pass can only be issued by library staff.

Explore More Illinois is a free service provided by your library that provides instant online access to free and discounted tickets to museums, science centers, sporting events, zoos, park districts, theatres, and other fun and local cultural venues.
CHECK OUT IPO
Check Out IPO is a community partnership program with area libraries offering a limited number of free tickets to Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra concerts during the regular season. Show your Tinley Park Public Library card to receive a pass which will be exchanged at the IPO venue box office on concert night for up to 2 tickets. Passes for the month's concert are available beginning the first day of that month. Passes may be checked out twice per household per season. Please call 708.532.0160 to inquire about pass availability—you must visit the library to pick up your pass.
The Tinley Park Public Library provides proctoring services for residents of Tinley Park and Orland Hills. Please contact the Adult Reference Desk (708.532.0160, x1) at least four days (96 hours) before the examination must be taken.
The library offers a self-serve scan station on the first level near the photocopier. You may scan your documents or pictures at no charge. You can scan these images to your smartphone, USB drive, email address, or Google Drive account. You may also visit the Adult Reference Desk to have your documents scanned and emailed at no charge.
Three self-help stations allow patrons to quickly checkout materials whethe or not the Checkout Desk is busy.
For those patrons in need of a wheelchair while in the library, we offer one on both floors of the building. Feel free to ask our staff to retrieve it.
